We are seeking a town planner who has at least 3+ years NSW planning experience, within the private consultancy or local government sectors.
The selected town planner will play a critical role in the business and will proactively work as part of the team, providing support and assistance to the director and other staff members, as necessary.

Prepare high level technical reports required for various development applications, including Statement of Environmental Effects, Clause 4.6 variations and comprehensive planning responses
Conduct the necessary research to analyse and provide solutions to complex development issues
Effectively manage a large number of projects whilst meeting strict deadlines and responding to competing priorities
Liaise with and respond to client and consultant queries
Provide guidance and assistance to others as required
To be successful you will:
Be self-motivated and capable of working autonomously on projects
Have well-developed written and oral communication, report writing and presentation skills
Be capable of preparing, lodging and monitoring development applications, from inception through to completion
Have a thorough working knowledge of the NSW planning and approvals system including SEPP's, LEP's, DCP's and other relevant planning instruments, policies and guidelines
Have well-developed computer skills
Possess a current drivers licence
Formal qualifications in Town Planning are essential.
